Sales Materials

The Challenge

Before I redesigned our sales materials, our team faced a frustrating and time-consuming process. There were multiple outdated decks floating around, and the common practice was to “frankenstein” together slides from three different versions every time we needed a presentation. This not only drained time across the marketing and sales teams but also created inconsistencies in messaging, branding, and professionalism. For a company pitching property owners, developers, and investors, we needed polished, trustworthy materials that reflected our expertise and credibility.

The Action

To streamline the process, I collaborated with a third-party partner to develop branded templates in Adobe InDesign. From there, I built out two primary tools:

Comprehensive Services Overview Deck – A robust presentation used for serious ownership inquiries and investor conversations. It includes company history, service breakdowns, technology platforms, case studies, team bios, and KPIs

Concise One-Pager – A quick-hit introduction to Evernest’s multifamily services, designed for networking and lighter conversations

I also designed a sophisticated shared folder system to ensure our team always had access to the latest, polished versions. Most importantly, I incorporated ongoing feedback from sales, property management, and leasing staff — the people in front of clients every day. Their input helped me fine-tune the decks for usability, clarity, and impact.

The Impact

  • Eliminated the “frankensteining” process, saving countless staff hours and ensuring every deck sent to clients was on-brand and up to date.
  • Boosted internal confidence and consistency in pitches by providing ready-to-use, professional materials.
  • Strengthened client perception of the company by presenting cohesive, modern, and data-driven sales collateral.
  • Enabled scalability — as our company expanded into 53+ markets through acquisitions, these materials became the foundation for telling a unified brand story.
